Fits 2007-present Jeep JKs

Please do not confuse this Cargo/Pet barrier with all of the “universal” products out there. This unit has been designed to fit specifically in Jeep JK Unlimited Wrangler. To our knowledge, this is the most versatile and solid Cargo Barrier ever designed for the Jeep JK Unlimited (4 Door Wrangler).

No drilling or modifications required

Easy to assemble….the process of assembly requires about 10 minutes and simple hand tools.

Easy to install and easy to remove….

Powdercoated for durability and long service life.

It can be used in conjunction with Springtail MOLLE Side Racks or without.

The barrier is very solid using a combination of six mounting points.  4 of these points are achieved by using high quality adjustable straps that wrap around the roll bar and headrest posts. The remaining 2 are bolt-in mounts that use factory threaded holes on the tub of the Jeep.

Made in the USA using American steel.

The barrier will help protect you from flying gear and loose cargo in the event of a sudden off road maneuver or accident.

There are mounting holes that will accept quickfist hardware to allow the mounting of lighter cargo items to the divider.

Clearly defines your cargo area as a “trunk”, important is some states for transporting firearms. Check with local laws and regulations first.

Rear seats can still be folded forward for modification for different types of cargo, allowing for a more adaptable rear storage area.

There is an old saying involving pet transportation….”A confined pet is a safe pet”.   According to Barkbuckleup.com, a 60-lb dog traveling at 35 mph can turn into a 2,700 pound projectile in an accident. For the safety of your pet and your family, making efforts to properly confine your furry friend is paramount.

The best method is to “crate” the animal with the crate secured in the cargo area. A pet barrier is probably the next best option for the following reasons.

1)      Ease of use

2)      Limits the animal’s ability to move about. The less area the animal has to move means that there is less chance to build up momentum in the event of a sudden stop. Less momentum generally equals less damaging forces applied.

3)      It helps to protect your pets and passengers by limiting potential invasion into the forward passenger area.

Safety and Security

It offers a degree of security by limiting the ability to reach either from the cargo area forward or into the cargo area from the passenger area. In short, it limits the opportunity of a “snatch and grab” type crime.

This product was designed to help contain objects and pets in the cargo area during off-road activities.

Recommended for competition use only

It will limit rearward vision, please drive with accordingly and with caution.

For vehicles not equipped with an inside door release, there is a potential for entrapment since access is blocked to the front of the vehicle. Please familiarize yourself and all occupants of the vehicle to the quick-detach straps (and how to tip seats forward) to facilitate leaving the cargo area in such an event.

Never leave children unattended around an open vehicle cargo bay as entrapment could cause death or permanent disability.

By installing this Springtail product you are acknowledging these potential risks. If you do not accept these conditions, please return unused product to Springtail for a prompt refund.

5 Stars
Excellent quality and perfect fit
I looked at several options for "JKU specific" dog barriers to keep my 65 pound chocolate lab pup safe and off of the front/back seats. I am very happy I chose the Springtail. Every aspect of the product is high quality, from the initial design and fit, to the materials and even the packaging. Installation was fast, and while it can be easily removed (an initial selling point for me), I don't anticipate that I will want to. It looks great.
